SUMMARY:ABCG PHE Thematic Working Group Presentation: Lessons Learned in Exploring Linkages between Food Security, Nutrition and Conservation
                        DESCRIPTION:
Overview

Recognizing there are strong linkages between biodiversity conservation and human health, the health of domestic animals, and ecosystem health, the Africa Biodiversity Collaborative Group's (ABCG) Population, Health and Environment (PHE) task group advances a vision that incorporates health outcomes into biodiversity conservation and sustainable development in sub-Saharan Africa. Over the past three years, task members WWF, TNC, AWF and JGI have implemented field-based activities to improve critical ecosystem services and human health and well-being outcomes.

This event increased knowledge and learning among conservation, development and health professionals about the USAID-funded ABCG activities over the past three years.

Location: WWF, 1250 24th Street NW, Washington, DC and Online
