                        DESCRIPTION:<p>In this presentation, Guilia Besana explored how family planning can be part of the solution towards conservation efforts. She elaborated on how family planning can be linked to improved health outcomes of women, children and communities and what this means for the environment. Learnings from Tanzania were used to depict some of the challenges encountered in implementing family planning programs and recommendations were provided that encouraged a discussion on how conservation organizations can achieve a greater impact by addressing family planning in their work.</p>
