The Vital Signs monitoring system (www.vitalsigns.org) collects and integrates data using standardized protocols and methods including household surveys among others.
Vital Signs is led by Conservation International (CI) in partnership with the Tanzania Forest Conservation Group (TFCG), the Africa Innovations Institute (AfrII) in Uganda, the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources and National Bureau of Statistics in Kenya, and the Wildlife Conservation Society in Rwanda.
