Event Overview
The presentation provided updates on the implementation of Community-Based Forest Management (CBFM) management plans in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) for improved conservation outcomes, a convening of country experts on community forests in light of the Forest law (2020) in the Republic of Congo (RoC), and a longitudinal study of forest cover change in community forests in 5 African countries ((Liberia in West Africa and Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) in Central Africa.
