The planned workshop concept was presented by Dan Segan of the Wildlife Conservation Society on behalf of the ABCG members. It included a presentation of the vision of and input into the Africa-based workshops and draft agenda, followed by a discussion of the vision and objectives, purpose and targeted audience before the plenary reached a consensus.
