Rangelands occupy vast swathes of land area, and could hold 1/3 of the world’s terrestrial carbon. Yet rangelands face huge pressures and threats. However, restoring degraded lands can trap substantial amounts of greenhouse gases through planned grazing. Mark’s presentation spotlighted projects becoming viable business/conservation models.
