This virtual knowledge exchange session provides GWP stakeholders’ information on types of tourism concession models successfully implemented in protected areas and an overview of the tourism concessioning toolkit that is currently under development. Through this virtual session, the speakers introduce tourism concessioning, an overview of guidelines for tourism concessions for protected areas, and share examples of community concession tourism models and other models and experiences from Africa and Asia.
