The Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves is a public-private partnership that seeks to save lives, improve livelihoods, empower women, and protect the environment by creating a thriving global market for clean and efficient household cooking solutions. The Alliance has an ambitious but achievablegoal is to foster the adoption of clean cookstoves and fuels in 100 million households by 2020, and is mobilizing support from a wide range of private, public, and non-profit stakeholders. The Alliance will share stories from the field, lessons learned, and discuss how it engages with over 800 partners to grow the clean cooking sector and convene players around areas critical for sector success.
