Overview

The Watershed program is a strategic partnership between the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and IRC, Simavi, Wetlands International and Akvoh, focused on systems building related to integrated water resource management and WASH in six African countries.

The webinar featured a joint presentation from Samwel Jakinda, Programmes Manager, Neighbours Initiative Alliance and Jacob Baraza, Watershed Project Manager, Centre for Social Planning and Administrative Development (CESPAD) about their experiences advocating for integrated approaches in Kenya. They were followed by Elynn Walter, International Advocacy Expert, IRC, who spoke about Watershed’s global work package that amplifies lessons across the partnership.  To learn more about the program, please visit https://watershed.nl/.

This webinar was co-hosted by ABCG’s Freshwater-WASH Community of Practice and Conservation International’s Freshwater Strategy. Both hosting organizations have a commitment to sharing lessons learned about integrated freshwater conservation and WASH approaches.Resources
