Chris Zganjar, The Nature Conservancy’s Climate Adaptation Scientist, gave an overview of TNC’s Climate Wizard and Climate Wizard Custom tools, online interactive spatial mapping tools of historical and projected climate characteristics. This includes a multitude of weather and climate variables to give the users a comprehensive graphical portrayal of conditions in specific locations (using downscaled climatic simulation) or regions.

The wizards were specifically designed to be relevant to the average world citizen, translating climatic changes to specific sector-based impacts; query-based to tailor one’s assessment of a particular geographic location; and freely accessible mapping products.
