Charles Nyandiga, UNDP-GEFs community based adaptation (CBA) coordinator, gave an overview of UNDPs CBA program, and specifically highlighted subsistence farming communities in Namibia. The presentation looked at climate change risk factors and coping strategies, citing the use of the Vulnerability Reduction Assessment tool. An overall goal is to build resilience and adaptation to climate change induced risks for agro-pastoral communities.
