These reviews are being conducted for numerous regions to generate greater understanding of integrated landscape initiatives, distill lessons from recent experiences, and identify opportunities and constraints to furthering these initiatives in Africa and other parts of the world. Findings form the report are being used to address key local, regional, and global challenges associated with competing uses of land, natural resources, and human wellbeing.
